Standing at 351.5 meters (1,153 feet), the Lotus Tower is the tallest self-supported structure in South Asia and ranks as the 11th tallest tower in Asia and the 19th tallest in the world. Completed in 2019 and opened to the public in 2022, the tower’s design is inspired by the lotus flower, symbolizing purity and spiritual enlightenment in Sri Lankan culture. Its base resembles a lotus pedestal, and the structure is adorned with color-changing LED lights, creating a stunning visual display, especially at night.
